Base outdated packages on sources instead of binaries.
Automatically file bugs with serverity: serious for architectures which FTBFS.

worked a bit on the ASCII sprint
worked on a simple way to inject/remove files into/from packages. Code included in d1h (d1h inject). Still to be completed, but it works (it was used to rebrand wdm, available in ascii-proposed) and will allow to automatise updates easily. Will be able to add/remove files from the package during build (it uses overridedhinstall to cp/rm stuff), and uses a devuan folder under debian/, merged from an orphaned branch, so it will not need to fiddle with dquilt patches ;-) Will document it more accurately.
N.B.: This is much more simple and rudimental than what Evilham has in mind, and might not be sufficient for all the cases. Let's see if we need more than this...

Is it possible to include KDE in the beta iso's tasksel? I could do some testing, but probably not before mid-January.
(KatolaZ) I think that we should include in tasksel only stuff that works. KDE5 is known to have some problems with logout/change user/suspend etc...
